Alex Thomson has announced Swiss sailor Oliver Heer as his co-skipper for the Rolex Fastnet Race. As Boat Captain of HUGO BOSS, Ollie has worked in the Alex Thomson Racing Team since 2018 and has completed over 50,000 nautical miles on the boat.

Giles Redpath's Lombard 46 Pata Negra is the overall winner of the 2018 Sevenstar Round Britain and Ireland Race. Pata Negra scored the best corrected time for yachts racing under the IRC Rating Rule for the 1,805 nautical mile non-stop race.
